We took a week-long trip to LA last week to get some business done and to get some much-needed sun. We stayed in a townhouse in Venice and were joined by our buddies Eric and Dave. These numerous photos should tell the story of how we spent our time there. What these photos won't tell are the stressful moments of dealing with a 3-hour time zone difference, waking up way early each morning for client calls, and trying to finish all the work before going out to play. Thank goodness the beach was just a block away! Great seeing all of our buddies in Cali, especially Mung, Joyce, and Jason Pae "Tre."
A truck that serves delicious Taiwanese meals -- what's not to like? We made a sweet and simple one-pager for the beloved Taiwnese food truck NYC Cravings. The site features a Twitter feed, social media links, photo slideshow, and a menu/schedule area that's editable using CushyCMS.

Skydeck360 is a new online recruiting tool designed to help top MBA candidates get jobs in this tough market. We provided art direction, illustration, and Flash animation to create a short video introducing their service. Little did we know how much of a huge pain it would be to convert a SWF into a video file that would upload to YouTube. Thankfully, we came across Sreenium, which allowed us to capture the SWF on our screen and make it into a MOV file. Skydeck360 is currently opening up its services to students at Harvard Business School and recruiters looking to hire there.
We'll be working from a lakeside house this week in South Hero, VT. Thought it'd be nice to get some fresh air while we get things done. We've also managed to chop some wood, row the canoe, and make lots of s'mores. It's a bit chilly up here, but we're looking forward to a fun and active week. More pics coming soon!
Steamboat Foundation’s Special Grants Program is designed to support individuals and organizations that create unique programs to help impoverished communities around the globe.
We recently expanded the Steamboat Foundation's Special Grants Program section on its website with updated information on all the grantees. Each grantee page has detailed tabs that include Overview, Needs Addressed, Biography of the Grantee leader, and the Program's Accomplishments. We also created graphics for charts and timelines to help better visualize the information. Back in 2007, when we first started working with the Steamboat Foundation, Right to Play was its first and only grantee. We're very happy to see that the program has added four quality grantees to the program and continues to grow.
